Essential Job Functions:
- Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Set up and sustain various electrical systems, including EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit, cable tray, instrumentation and controls wiring, new service installations, and lighting setups.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze and comprehend electrical schematics or blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Control Panel Assembly: Construct and wire electrical control panels meticulously to meet project specifications.
- System Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and rectify electrical system failures, including machinery breakdowns and power issues, to restore functionality swiftly.
- Code Compliance: Guarantee that all electrical installations adhere to local electrical code standards.
- Independent Work Management: Exhibit self-organization and the capability to perform tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience Required:
- Electrical Certification: Must possess a valid 309A electrical license with a background in industrial or commercial projects.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of three years working as a licensed 309A electrician is essential.
- Motor Control Expertise: Familiarity with motor control systems is advantageous.
- Communication and Service Skills: Exceptional ability in communication and customer service is crucial.
- Code Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Ontario and Canadian Electrical Codes is necessary.
