Essential Job Functions:
- Machinery Installation: Expertly install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment, ensuring all components are securely in place and function correctly.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and mechanical systems to keep them running efficiently and safely.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical problems and implement solutions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Component Fabrication: Utilize tools and machinery to fabricate and modify parts as necessary for equipment upkeep and improvements.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the life of machinery and avoid unexpected breakdowns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure machinery operations align with company standards and production goals.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience Required:
- Certification: Must hold a valid Millwright certification.
- Professional Experience: At least three years of experience in an industrial setting performing installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools, machinery, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and document maintenance activities.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrates mechanical inclination with a good understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
- Driving Record: Must maintain a good driving record for any necessary travel or on-site work.
